I began my education career in 1993 as a High School Agriculture Science instructor and FFA Advisor. My family and I ended up in the West Central Illinois area in 1996 when I started to teach at Avon High School. In July of 2000, I moved out of the classroom and into educational technology as the District Technology Coordinator. In 2008 I made what was perhaps the biggest move of my career in becoming the Principal at Spoon River Valley Junior/Senior High. On July 1, 2017, I moved into the role of Superintendent for the district.

I graduated Valley in 1965. I am so happy and proud to hear that Valley is doing so well.
Keep up the good work.
